National Bible Day is celebrated in Madagascar every June 21st. Organized by the Malagasy Bible Society (MBS), the week before this date is called “Bible Week”. This year, the MBS invited a traditional praise group to do a public showcase at Antaninarenina. On Wednesday afternoon, a group of children called “Zaza Kanto” was also there to sing and praise the Lord. A special discount was offered on MBS products during this week and a variety of activities took place during this week event, though not only in Antananarivo, but also in other regions where the MBS is at work. In 2020, the MBS will then celebrate the remarkable 185th Anniversary of the Malagasy Bible.
